Well I may just be the person you are looking for! Hello! My name is Meg and I founded Four Paws With Meg in March 2025.
From my previous career as a veterinary nurse to my extensive animal care experience - including completion of the advanced reptile & amphibian nursing care certification and a history in successful animal SAR (search and rescue) assistance - my passion is delivering exceptional and trusted care to your pet, with a strong focus on safety, only the highest standards of care, and building trusted partnerships with my clients and their pets.

One-to-one dog walking - no distractions, no packs of dogs from different households, just sole attention of your pet with their safety at the forefront of every outing.
Your pet is fitted with a GPS tracker I supply (Tractive) and long line exercise on every walk - safe from harm, under control out in public and supervised at all times.
Your go to Bedfordshire-based veterinary nurse for a variety of pet care services (e.g. nail clipping and medication administration).
Professional care and vigilant observation at all times, recognising when something just isn't right and acting decisively. I will advocate for your pet and support you as my client.
An easy & simple booking process with flexible time slots to fit with your schedule and your pet's routine from early morning to late at night (subject to availability).

*Ad-hoc/as needed/holiday/short term cover - please message me to discuss my availability*
I cover a three mile radius around Ampthill for regular clients (E.g Flitwick, Steppingley, Houghton Conquest, Millbrook, Greenfield).
However I am able to accommodate for ad hoc bookings for clients across Bedfordshire dependent on my availability (Bedford, Barton-Le-Clay, Toddington, Sharpenhoe, Harlington, Clophill, Ridgmont, Woburn Sands, Aspley Guise, Cranfield).
I run on a slot by slot basis seven days a week, slots are on a first-come first-served basis and are available to book subject to my availability (30 minute / 45 minute / 60 minute slots).
